E il <em>marketing<\/em>. \u00c8 lo <em>spot<\/em> dell\u2019agenzia di comunicazione Iris per Starbucks, parte della pi\u00f9 ampia campagna #whatsyourname, <a href=\"https:\/\/channel4.com\/press\/news\/channel-4-debuts-winner-its-diversity-advertising-award-starbucks-ground-breaking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vincitrice del concorso <em>Diversity in Advertising<\/em><\/a> del canale televisivo britannico Channel 4. In palio c&#8217;\u00e8 un milione di sterline per premiare compagnie e campagne <em>adv<\/em> finalizzate a promuovere la rappresentanza LGBT+ nelle pubblicit\u00e0, dopo che una ricerca dello stesso canale ha rivelato che solo nello 0,3 % di esse \u00e8 presente una persona transessuale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/channel\/UCoFz_VGzCROVMHwMVYrv7Ww\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lo spot, <em>cool<\/em> e patinato, presenta<\/a> alcune scene della vita quotidiana di Jemma, una ragazzina che evidentemente \u201csi sente\u201d maschio, e che pertanto si veste e si atteggia da ragazzino. Viene per\u00f2 sempre chiamata \u00abJemma\u00bb: sul tesserino della scuola, dal medico, quando pap\u00e0 la presenta agli amici. Solo da Starbucks la giovane avverte la possibilit\u00e0 di usare il nome che \u201csente\u201d proprio e cos\u00ec l\u2019addetto alla cassa scrive \u00abJames\u00bb sul bicchierone del suo caff\u00e8. Logo bene in vista, dissolvenza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sul canale YouTube della celeberrima catena di caffetterie, raccolti sotto il <em>claim<\/em> \u00abEvery name\u2019s a story\u00bb, ci sono alcuni corti in cui persone transessuali raccontano la propria esperienza con ci\u00f2 che viene definito il <em>deadnaming<\/em>, il permanere cio\u00e8 del \u201cvecchio nome\u201d dopo la transizione all&#8217;altro sesso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Manager<\/em> della compagnia e del <em>network<\/em> e creativi dell\u2019agenzia <a href=\"https:\/\/channel4.com\/press\/news\/channel-4-debuts-winner-its-diversity-advertising-award-starbucks-ground-breaking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fanno a gara nel dichiarare gioia e soddisfazione<\/a> per questa che pare essere diventata una \u201cbattaglia di civilt\u00e0\u201d. Ma non \u00e8 affatto convincente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi si legge piuttosto un interesse di puro <em>marketing<\/em> che ha la comunit\u00e0 LGBT+ mondiale come <em>target<\/em> ma anche come strumento, una comunit\u00e0 vista come un enorme portafogli cui attingere, date (a quanto pare) una capacit\u00e0 e una propensione alla spesa superiori alla media. Lo afferma addirittura COM.MA, agenzia che gestisce il <em>network<\/em> editoriale LGBT pi\u00f9 rilevante in Italia e che sul proprio sito ospita una nutrita sezione dedicata al <em><a href=\"https:\/\/commaonline.it\/servizi\/gay-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gay marketing<\/a><\/em>: <em>advertising<\/em> dedicato, di nicchia, tribale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del resto, il fenomeno del <em>rainbowwashing<\/em>, cio\u00e8 la promozione di \u00abun&#8217;attivit\u00e0 sociale o di marketing indirizzata a presentare una realt\u00e0 come&nbsp;<em>gay-friendly<\/em>&nbsp;allo scopo di aumentarne il consenso presso il pubblico\u00bb, \u00e8 gi\u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rainbow_washing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">una voce di Wikipedia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come nel caso dello <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ifamnews.com\/it\/laroma-lgbt-del-caffe-belga\/\" target=\"_blank\">spot della compagnia belga Douwe Egberts<\/a>, lo scopo sembra essere uno solo: vendere. Non vi ovviamente \u00e8 nulla di male nel promuovere la propria azienda verso i canali e i <em>target <\/em>considerati pi\u00f9 adatti, per propensioni e stili di vita. Ci\u00f2 che non \u00e8 accettabile \u00e8 il bombardamento costante di <em>input<\/em>, rivolti in modo preponderante ai pi\u00f9 giovani, volti a normalizzare e anzi a rendere affascinanti certi stili di vita. E del resto: la comunit\u00e0 omosessuale non si sente sfruttata? <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vendere, vendere, vendere.
