C&rsquo;est ce que rapporte le<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/national\/absolutely-devastating-woman-sues-psychiatrist-over-gender-transition-20220823-p5bbyr.html\"> Sydney Morning Herald<\/a> <\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La femme, Jay Langadinos, avait consult\u00e9 le psychiatre Dr Patrick Toohey en mai 2010 pour sa dysphorie de genre. Celui-ci lui a alors prescrit de la testost\u00e9rone comme hormone de sexe oppos\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En f\u00e9vrier 2012, Langadinos s&rsquo;est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e une deuxi\u00e8me fois et Toohey a autoris\u00e9 l&rsquo;ablation de ses seins. Ceux-ci lui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9s en avril de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, puis l&rsquo;ut\u00e9rus en novembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme la dysphorie de genre ne s&rsquo;est pas att\u00e9nu\u00e9e par la suite, mais que les probl\u00e8mes psychologiques ont continu\u00e9 \u00e0 s&rsquo;aggraver, Langadinos a demand\u00e9 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un autre psychiatre. Au cours de son traitement, la femme a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 2016 que sa d\u00e9cision transaffirmative et l&rsquo;ablation de ses organes sexuels \u00e9taient une erreur ; en 2020, elle a cess\u00e9 de prendre des hormones du sexe oppos\u00e9 et a repris son identit\u00e9 f\u00e9minine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Langadinos reproche \u00e0 Toohey d&rsquo;avoir \u00ab\u00a0omis de prendre des pr\u00e9cautions\u00a0\u00bb. et de demander un deuxi\u00e8me avis.
