\u201cSomos conscientes de los diferentes obst\u00e1culos a los que enfrentan las mujeres en el mundo por el hecho de ser madres: desde situaciones como la p\u00e9rdida de estatus profesional, econ\u00f3mico y social si se opta por la dedicaci\u00f3n a la familia, ya sea de formal parcial o exclusiva, temporal o permanente; sin olvidar que es la causa principal de discriminaci\u00f3n laboral femenina, llegando incluso al mobbing maternal por estar embarazada y\/o tener hijos; hasta circunstancias tan graves como si es forzada, objeto de alquiler o compra-venta, e incluso causa de enfermedad o muerte. Y es urgente que se tomen medidas sociales y pol\u00edticas que pongan en el centro la maternidad<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con estas palabras la coordinadora de la plataforma, Leonor Tamayo, explica los motivos por los que en mayo, el mes en el que en la mayor parte del mundo se celebra el D\u00eda de la Madre, la plataforma ha lanzado un Manifiesto y un video sobre la maternidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Manifiesto est\u00e1 recabando adhesiones de entidades de la sociedad civil a nivel global para que se comprometan a invitar a sus correspondientes Estados a firmar la Declaraci\u00f3n del Consenso de Ginebra, la cual promueve la salud integral de la mujer y defiende su aut\u00e9ntica dignidad. Y est\u00e1 previsto que en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas se abra tambi\u00e9n a las adhesiones a t\u00edtulo individual y otras acciones a nivel internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Xxx asociaciones de xxx pa\u00edses ya se han sumado al Manifiesto que invita  los pa\u00edses que no se han adherido a la Declaraci\u00f3n Consenso de Ginebra (2020) a que lo hagan para ratificar la dignidad, desarrollo, salud e identidad de todas las mujeres de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre las asociaciones adheridas se encuentra Iraqui Women Network, de Irak, Moms for America, de EEUU, ANCIFEM de M\u00e9xico, el Observatorio regional para la mujer de America Latina y el caribe, Ordo Iuris de Polonia y Real Women of Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 La campa\u00f1a est\u00e1 reforzada con un video lanzado en todas sus plataformas digitales en el que  reconoce y agradece  la labor de todas las madres alrededor del mundo. El v\u00eddeo refleja situaciones en que las mam\u00e1s muestran su apoyo y amor incondicional hacia sus hijos, resaltando la dignidad y el regalo que ofrece el don de la maternidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
