Democrat Representative Tulsi Gabbard recently introduced a bill called “The Protect Women’s Sports Act”, which specifies that Title IX protections, such as that from discrimination based on sex in sports programs, must apply only to a person’s biological sex as determined by doctors at birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gabbard spoke on the influence and importance of this bill, saying, “Our legislation protects Title IX\u2019s original intent which was based on the general biological distinction between men and women athletes based on sex.
