The mother, identified only as Christine, shared her story in a video posted to social media, recounting the events surrounding the 2023 murder of her daughter, Lola Daviet, in Paris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suspect, Dahbia Benkired, an Algerian national who had entered France illegally, allegedly tortured, raped, and decapitated the young girl before stuffing her body into a suitcase. Christine described how the discovery devastated her family. \u201cMy husband died of grief,\u201d she stated. \u201cHe couldn\u2019t bear the pain of losing our daughter in such a horrific way.\u201d French authorities confirmed that Benkired, who was in the country despite an expulsion order, carried out the attack after the girl returned home from school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case sparked national outrage over immigration enforcement failures.
