In 1977, he founded Focus on the Family<\/em>, which grew into a powerful evangelical media ministry through radio, print, and broadcast that reached millions worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his career, Dobson played a key role shaping conservative Christian engagement in politics. He founded the Family Research Council as a political advocacy arm, advised five U.S. presidents from Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump, and stood as a leading voice against abortion and same-sex marriage.
