Kenner Police Department claimed in a Facebook post that the enforcement of law pertaining to illegal immigrants often posed challenges, particularly due to the lack of documented identifiers. Kenner Police Department Chief Keith Conley lamented the difficulties faced by law enforcement and highlighted the straining of local resources due to issues pertaining to illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n
Castellanos-Orellana has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery, first-degree rape and aggravated assault, and a federal ICE detainer was also issued against him. Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry has expressed his sympathy for the victims of the crime and called for stronger border controls.<\/p>\n
