In an interview<\/a>, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke out against the dangers of gender ideology that could negatively impact women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Meloni, gender ideology promotes the idea that gender is a social construct, not a biological reality, and that people should be free to identify as any gender they choose. “Women will be the first victims of gender ideology,” Meloni said. “We are witnessing a new wave of misogyny in which women are being erased and silenced in the name of an ideology that is not supported by science or reason.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meloni went on to say she is particularly concerned about the impact of gender ideology on children, who she said are exposed to harmful ideas at a young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We cannot allow our children to be brainwashed by this ideology,” she said. “We must defend the truth about human nature and protect our children from those who seek to harm them in the name of political correctness.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
