The Spanish Foundation of Christian Lawyers has filed a lawsuit against the senator of Comprom\u00eds, Carles Mulet, for harassing Christians and organizations that defend their interests, for pressuring City Councils to demolish crosses and for encouraging the dynamiting of the cross of the Valley of the Fallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Christian Lawyers foundation has accused Mulet of a crime of incitement to hatred and discrimination (Article 510 of the Penal Code) and another of harassment (Article 172 of the Penal Code).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In its letter, the Foundation stated that “the enormous number of cases certify as to Mulet’s obsession over the demolition of crosses” and added that “this is a senator who uses public money of all Spaniards in an obsessive persecution”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding the publications on social networks, in its brief to the judge the Christian Lawyers foundation underlined that the senator “publicly incites hatred and hostility, discrimination and violence on religious grounds, against members of the Catholic Church in general and the foundation of jurists in particular.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The president of Christian Lawyers, Polonia Castellanos, pointed out that “we cannot allow anyone to use public money to attack the cross of the Valley of the Fallen, to attack the crosses of other people, to insult those of us who defend Christianity and what it represents, which is peace, respect and tolerance”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
