The killing of an unarmed black man, George Floyd, by a Minneapolis police officer was a tragic and deeply troubling situation. The world over has seen the recording of Mr. Floyd’s plaintiff plea as he lay on the ground, the officer\u2019s knee on his neck. \u201cI can\u2019t breathe\u201d will haunt us for a long time to come.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understandably, the killing of Mr. Floyd sparked nationwide protests to speak out against the inexplicable circumstance of a man who was fully restrained, unarmed and posed no threat to anyone, yet forced into a position that ultimately took his life. How could such a thing happen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the protests over what happened to George Floyd are completely understandable, and highly appropriate, what they have morphed into is not. After eight days of rioting and looting in cities across America, what\u2019s happening out on the streets has little if anything to do with George Floyd. It has to do with spreading mayhem, violence, fear and anarchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there is a palpable sense by many observers that what\u2019s\nhappening on the streets is not merely impulsive displays of anger and uncontrolled\nfits of rage, but rather something that is being orchestrated, planned, funded\nand undertaken in a coordinated, organized fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I don\u2019t have direct evidence to prove who is behind\nthis situation, I can\u2019t help but wonder if one or more of the groups funded by George\nSoros might be involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soros funds many of the groups that support Black Lives Matter, which has played a leading role in organizing some of the protests. Yet even some Black Lives Matter leaders have been forced to admit that what\u2019s happening now with the fomenting of violence and anarchy is indefensible and not of their doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reports of organized anarchy \u2013 if there can be such a\nthing \u2013 are many. There are reports of pallets of bricks being delivered to cities\nacross the country. The bricks have mysteriously ended up in the hands of\nprotestors.  Police have found stashes of\nincendiary devices. Police officials report that teams of individuals are going\nfrom place to place in a deliberate, planned fashion. One member will break building\nwindows; another will be in charge of graffiti; still others will go after the\npolice. Then they will move on to another spot, often in a stolen car, leaving\nthe gathered crowd behind to loot to their hearts content. Officials report a\nhuge influx of stolen vehicles are flooding city streets. Lawyers are on call\nto bail out and then represent anyone who is arrested so that the scheme can\ncontinue unabated. Some have said that they have medical personnel standing by.\nFinally, officials in cities across the country continually report that many if\nnot most of those who are protesting, \u201care not from here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some conservative commentators and activists have claimed that Soros, through his Open Society Foundations network, has protestors directly on the payroll. That is unlikely. More likely is a subtler, much harder to track approach. Soros directs massive funding \u2013 over $30 billion<\/em><\/strong> to date — to the vast network of groups that he funds and\/or controls. His network is active the world over, in more than 120 countries. He\u2019s funded thousands of groups. Some of those groups could then use their funding to help organize and carry out the rioting, or they could farm it out to others.  None of this is publicly reportable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, I\u2019ve had more than one client or acquaintance be targeted by radical extremists simply because they expressed opinions on issues that run contrary to liberal orthodoxy, or because they are running for office with a sincere desire to protect public safety. They\u2019ve been confronted \u2013 often violently so \u2013 by a mob of leftist radicals, including members of Antifa. Somebody organized the mob. Somebody paid for their signs. Somebody tipped off the media to cover their demonstrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s happening on the streets of America right now is\nreminiscent of what happens when migrant caravans magically form to storm the\nsouthern border of the United States, or where migrants suddenly materialize to\ngo throughout Europe to settle in western countries.  It\u2019s reminiscent of when throngs of activists\n\u201coccupy\u201d buildings or public squares \u2013 for weeks on end. It\u2019s reminiscent of\nwhen massive \u201cmarches\u201d to defend \u201creproductive health care\u201d are organized in\nWashington DC or other major cities. Someone is behind those efforts picking up\nthe tab. The logistics alone are daunting. Someone has to pay for the food and\nwater, medical personnel, sanitation and transportation, not to mention the extensive\nwork to publicize the efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attorney General William Barr is apparently looking into the series of events and points of commonality of the rioting and looting that continues to unfold across the country. Let\u2019s hope that his investigators can get to the bottom of it, but doing so will be difficult. The network of groups that Soros funds or controls is able to move money around largely under the cover of darkness. They don\u2019t have to publicly disclose their activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we do know some things already. We know that the riots \u2013\njust like migrant caravans, the women\u2019s marches, the \u201coccupy\u201d movement and\nother massive so-called \u201cspontaneous\u201d events \u2013 all have a basis in liberal\northodoxy. They further the agenda of globalists, open border advocates, criminal\njustice reformers, pro-abortion zealots and \u201ctax the rich\u201d ideologues. These\nare all issues of great interest to George Soros and the groups he funds. George\nSoros has motive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know that pulling off these things takes great organizational skill, and significant money. George Soros has the means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we know that these riots developed very quickly, within\nhours of the legitimate protests beginning. To see that happen virtually\novernight in city after city suggests that someone was waiting for an opportunity\nto spring into action. Perhaps George Soros had opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t know for certain whether George Soros is behind the riots and the looting, but taking everything together, that is my bet. The situation has a definite Soros stench.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
