I am starting to read an essential book: “La masculinidad robada” by Mar\u00eda Calvo.<\/p>\n\n
I could reproduce hundreds of quotations, I put here one of them, chosen almost at random because they are all valuable:<\/p>\n\n
“Today the image of the strong, noble, courageous, authoritative and self-confident man has been discarded and replaced by that of soft, sensitive, maternal, often ridiculous, even grotesque men, who shy away from conflict (even if it is for a just cause), responsibility and commitment.”<\/p>\n\n
We have been warning about the need to reclaim masculinity for only a few years and it is becoming more and more urgent. As I read the book, I get excited to see written in such a precise and accurate way what has been going around in my head for so long and what I have dared to write about. The exaggerated promotion of women has led to the annulment of men. Today’s society only considers women. Yes, it is true that the world still seems to be dominated by men, but only as long as they accept the primacy of women, hide their masculinity and limit themselves to accepting quotas, positive discrimination, laws and equality plans that ignore or discriminate against men, the permanent protagonism of women and, in addition, maintaining complaints and victimhood. It is unacceptable to talk about discrimination against women when everything is privileges for them.<\/p>\n\n
It has simply gotten out of hand. And we have relegated masculinity to ostracism and ridicule, if not outright condemnation of manhood.<\/p>\n\n
We are faced with a real identity crisis in boys that is triggered from the first years of schooling and that worsens throughout school. Our children are already suffering and we will all pay for it. The culprit? The denial of human nature, social reengineering and gender ideology.<\/p>\n\n
And what can we do? Well, at least this, to vindicate and celebrate masculinity. And not to give in.<\/p>\n\n
I, from here, want to thank the man for being a man and I ask you to continue being one. Thank you, man, for being our complement, thank you for taking care of us, thank you for your authority and strength, thank you for your sometimes silent tenderness, thank you for being the way you are. Don’t give up. Women need you to be men, to be masculine, to be yourselves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
