{"id":179980,"date":"2023-01-27T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ifamnews.com\/?p=179980"},"modified":"2023-01-26T12:10:53","modified_gmt":"2023-01-26T17:10:53","slug":"20-000-people-attend-paris-march-for-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifamnews.com\/en\/20-000-people-attend-paris-march-for-life","title":{"rendered":"20,000 people attend Paris March for Life"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Thousands of people gathered at the March for Life in Paris in mid-January to protest against the inclusion of a so-called right to abortion in the French constitution as well as the legalization of euthanasia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marchers gathered at Gare Montparnasse at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, and walked to Place Vauban, where the event ended with a closing rally at 5:30 p.m. According to the organizers, 20,000 people took part in the protest march.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The demonstration was largely peaceful. Only five activists from the feminist group FEMEN attempted to disrupt the March for Life with bare torsos and red paint on white shorts.
