One of my daughters, a 10-year-old, has a mandatory school subject called Education in values. When I saw that I had a subject like that I was not amused, but at that time I didn’t have much choice and I wasn’t very aware of the fuss at the beginning of the course, so I bought the book and thought that was it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The book is the 2030 Agenda explained to children. The topics are organized based on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), development and implementation of SDGs adapted to children. The class is, maybe, something generic, explaining to the kids that you have to be a good citizen, that you shouldn’t bully anyone, that you should take care of the planet and stuff like that. At first glance, we might not see anything wrong with it, but the truth is that, in reality, a subject of education in values implies that children should be trained in the values which the state decides on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that is clearly unacceptable. As parents, we should not allow the state to be the one educating children in values separately from the parents. And a catalog of values cannot be imposed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A month ago, my child stopped going to school. Now it’s time to explain to the school why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Agenda 2030 is a wolf in sheep’s clothing; it is a medicine with a strawberry-flavored coating. And it has been swallowed by everyone. I do not deny that there are no good things in there, of course: the fight against poverty, drinking water for all, etc. But it is irresponsible to stop there, we must learn more and more. And not swallow what they give us, or make our children swallow it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I, as a mother, do nothing just so that no one would point fingers at my daughter, that we would not confront with the school, if I keep quiet and swallow that book whose main focus is the SDGs, my daughter is assuming that the SDGs are something good, something she should learn. And, therefore, I am making her swallow the ideology imposed by the states that seek to establish a New World Order that will put an end to Christian culture. And if I explain it to the girl, but I tell her that she has to go to class so as not to embarrass herself, I am being inconsistent and teaching her to be a coward and that it is better to keep quiet about her convictions than insist on them and suffer consequences. And we do not live in a time when we should educate our children to swallow things with explicit or tacit imposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is time for courage, for action, for standing firm. It is time to educate them to go against the current, whatever the cost.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
