In addition, from now on underage girls over the age of 16 would be able to have abortions without parental consent. Also, female employees who suffer from menstrual cramps should be allowed to take time off with continued pay. Spain would thus be the first European country in which women suffering from menstrual pain could stay at home on a paid basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the vote on the bill introduced by the Ministry of Equality, 190 deputies voted for and 154 against; there were five abstentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, the Spanish upper house must approve the bill, after which it will again be considered by the lower house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Are you interested in the pro-life and pro-family movement?
