{"id":176442,"date":"2023-01-08T08:35:11","date_gmt":"2023-01-08T13:35:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ifamnews.com\/?p=176442"},"modified":"2023-01-08T08:35:13","modified_gmt":"2023-01-08T13:35:13","slug":"complaint-against-two-senior-officials-of-the-generalitat-for-financing-a-contact-app-to-practice-chemsex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifamnews.com\/en\/complaint-against-two-senior-officials-of-the-generalitat-for-financing-a-contact-app-to-practice-chemsex","title":{"rendered":"Spain: Complaint against two officials over &#8220;chemsex&#8221; app"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Spanish Christian Lawyers Foundation has filed a complaint against the general director of the Valencian Youth Institute, Jes\u00fas Dami\u00e1n Mart\u00ed, and against the Director of Public Health, Ofelia Gimeno, for an alleged crime against public health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawyers&#8217; organization accuses them of financing a contact app for &#8220;chemsex&#8221; and the Valencian Youth Institute of promoting this dangerous practice among young people in the region through social networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first case, the Public Health Directorate awarded a grant to the Citizens&#8217; Anti-AIDS Committee of the Valencian Community in the amount of 5,496.43 euros, to carry out a <a href=\"https:\/\/abogadoscristianos-dot-yamm-track.appspot.com\/1D0SDwt27pB4ptt6QaboTR_mlgFRKJHS2PCrvYp5ecQ3syLAYgQFIg3qSw93-ol8lP2NfyeX-9glv212aHzxoClZOmknT_di8TCsZ6DYqqChdpKstumPpMPVOcaiuEhOD4R19r6WnwSYUNjXJlTk6a-MmI8-DeuFlzMRhHKl9bKtJpPtxvxA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Contact app for MSM and chemsex users&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the Valencian Youth Institute, Christian Lawyers noted that a guide was published on the Institute&#8217;s social media in which the practice of chemsex was promoted and statements were made such as &#8220;everything is fine as long as it is controlled. The moment you lose consciousness. it is no longer a safe practice&#8221; or recommendations such as &#8220;knowing the person who provides you with the drugs can give you some assurance that the drugs are as pure as possible&#8221;.
