After the animated movie Lightyear<\/em> flopped<\/a> at the box office because many parents did not want the movie\u2019s LGBT agenda foisted on their children (some countries even banned the movie for this reason), you would think that Disney would have learned its lesson that \u201cif you go woke, you go broke.\u201d But for Disney and its left-wing filmmakers, pushing the LGBT agenda is more important than making money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This staunch commitment of Disney to the LGBT agenda over profit is once again on display in its just released movie Strange World<\/em>, which features the entertainment giant\u2019s first openly LGBT lead character in an animated film, a queer teenage boy openly attracted to another boy. Indeed, Disney was so well aware of how its film would offend people around the world that it decided not to even release it in many countries. As reported<\/a> by Cinema Online:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter the brouhaha that is Disney’s \u2018Lightyear\u2019, the studio has now learned its lesson and decided not to submit its new movie, \u2018Strange World\u2019 to countries with strict censorship\u2026. Among the countries that the movie will not be releasing in include all of the Middle East, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam, and several East and West African countries.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

How has this movie been doing so far? Like Lightyear<\/em>, it has been a disaster at the box office. As reported by Variety<\/a><\/em> magazine, Strange World<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cis bombing, grossing a disappointing $4.2 million on Wednesday [November 23] as it eyes a five-day haul of under $24 million. That\u2019s a terrible result for the $180 million-budgeted animated adventure. For comparison sake, \u2018Encanto,\u2019 another recent Disney animated offering, earned $40.3 million over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2021 \u2014 and that was considered to be a soft result for the family film.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The headline<\/a> of a story on the entertainment news site The Direct is even more revealing: \u201cDisney\u2019s Strange World Receives Worst Audience Score In Animation Studio History.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So there you have it. The studio executives at Disney are more committed to trying to foist the LGBT agenda on our children than on making a profit. After spending almost $200 million dollars to make Strange World<\/em>, Disney is expected to lose tens of millions on it as parents try to protect their children from Disney\u2019s ideological manipulation. With Disney freely accepting losing millions on movies promoting the LGBT lifestyle\u2014and losing billions in state tax benefits in Florida after the House of Mouse openly opposed a new law designed to prevent the indoctrination of children as young as 5 in sexual orientation and gender ideologies\u2014it appears that only bankruptcy would stop Disney\u2019s support for an agenda opposed by most of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
