If you have a child in the San Diego public schools, beware. Without asking your permission or even informing you, school officials are training teachers to indoctrinate your child in all things LGBTQ. As reported by Christopher Rufo, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
San Diego Unified is the latest school district to adopt the principles of academic queer theory and translate them into K-12 pedagogy, with the ultimate goal of dismantling \u201cheteronormativity\u201d and promoting a constellation of new sexual identities, such as \u201cgenderqueer,\u201d \u201cnon-binary,\u201d \u201cpansexual,\u201d and \u201ctwo-spirit.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The district\u2019s new ideology, explains Rufo, holds that the natural family\u2014a man and a woman in a lifelong commitment of marriage\u2014is an artificial and oppressive social construct in which human beings \u201care \u2018assigned\u2019 a sex at birth, pressed into the identities of \u2018man\u2019 and \u2018woman,\u2019 and expected to have heterosexual relationships culminating in \u2018marriage (and kids)\u2019\u201d as part of a \u201climited system [that] excludes and oppresses trans, nonbinary, intersex, and gender-nonconforming people.\u201d The solution to such oppression?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
San Diego Unified has created a program of gender-identity instruction with the explicit goal of undermining the traditional conception of sex and promoting a new set of boutique sexual identities… that promise to disrupt the oppressive system of heteronormativity. A series of curriculum documents encourage students to study the basic tenets of queer theory and then examine photographs of gender-nonconforming role models, including a woman with a beard, a boy in a dress, a teenage girl with a \u201cgenderqueer\u201d identity, a boy wearing a tiara, and an infant with a \u201cgender neutral baby name.\u201d…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
In a training produced jointly by San Diego Unified and Planned Parenthood, administrators walk teachers through the constellation of new identities and advise them to eliminate traditional language from their vocabulary. Men are to be called \u201cpeople with a penis\u201d and women are to be called \u201cpeople with a vulva\u201d… Additionally, the district points out that teachers can assist in a child\u2019s gender transition without notifying parents and that, under California law, minors of any age can consent to pregnancy testing, birth control, and abortion. Finally, the training program includes sample questions on sexuality that teachers might address in the classroom, including: \u201cIs it okay to masturbate?\u201d; \u201cHow do gay people have sex?\u201d; \u201cWhat is porn?\u201d; and \u201cWhat does semen taste like?\u201d In a related presentation, the district also advises teachers on leading discussions on \u201chow to use a condom\u201d and how to engage in \u201csafer oral sex\u201d and \u201csafer anal sex.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Glucksburg<\/em>, \u201cwe have held that, in addition to the specific freedoms protected by the Bill of Rights, the \u2018liberty\u2019 specially protected by the Due Process Clause includes the rights… to direct the education and upbringing of one\u2019s children.\u201d Even the Universal Declaration of Human Rights acknowledges that \u201cParents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must not, we cannot, stand by and allow our precious children to be indoctrinated in the lies of a society in rapid moral decline. We urge parents to stand up and refuse to allow such contemptible brainwashing of their children. And we call on the San Diego Unified School District to immediately cease and desist this pernicious assault on the hearts and minds of children who, as articulated in the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, have the right \u201cto develop physically, mentally, morally, spiritually and socially in a healthy and normal manner and in conditions of freedom and dignity.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
