Wade<\/em><\/a> has been overturned triggered similar hysterical reactions on both sides of the Channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ifamnews.com\/it\/macron-e-la-politica-francese-sostengono-il-diritto-costituzionale-ad-abortire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">In France, the Left fully<\/a> supports President Emmanuel Macron and is preparing to introduce at least two bills that go so far as to include the &#8220;women&#8217;s right&#8221; to voluntary termination of pregnancy in the Constitution of the R\u00e9publique. The Right expressed rather similar sentiments, merely stating that the US Court&#8217;s decision does not even touch the French law regulating abortion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hansard.parliament.uk\/Commons\/2022-06-28\/debates\/75E02BEF-614E-489A-8303-F15015AD83A6\/Women%E2%80%99SRightsToReproductiveHealthcareUnitedStates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">In the United Kingdom, Diana Johnson, MP in the House of Commons for the Labour Party, called for an urgent session<\/a> and questioned the Foreign Secretary on June 28 on whether pressure would be brought to bear on the Biden Administration to ensure access to abortion on US soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MPs demand abortion as a human right\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OXnfaF-6thY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><figcaption>MP Carla Lockheart, standing firm in defense of the right to life.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After reminding her colleagues that the US Supreme Court is &#8220;in a different jurisdiction,&#8221; Conservative Party MP Amanda Milling however said for her own part and that of Prime Minister Boris Johnson that the Court&#8217;s ruling would constitute &#8220;a step backward.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the UK, Milling continued, abortion should be considered among the &#8220;essential health services,&#8221; while Stella Creasy, MP for the Social Democratic Labour and Co-operative Party, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christian.org.uk\/news\/mps-demand-abortion-be-made-a-human-right\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">during the debate, asked whether an amendment to the Bill of Rights was intended.<\/a> For the sake of a reminder, the Bill of Rights is one of the cornerstones of the British constitutional system.
