Since the leak of the draft Supreme Court opinion that would overrule Roe v. Wade<\/em>, numerous leftist commentators have said that limiting abortion rights would \u201cdisproportionately harm women of color.\u201d For example, in a May 4th<\/sup>, 2022, article<\/a> entitled \u201cBlack and Hispanic people have the most to lose if Roe is overturned,\u201d in leftist PBS, the author states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c[I]f the U.S. Supreme court allows states to further restrict or even ban abortions, minorities will bear the brunt of it, according to statistics analyzed by The Associated Press.  \u2019Abortion restrictions are racist,\u2019 said Cathy Torres, an organizing manager with Frontera Fund, a Texas organization that helps pay for abortions. \u2018They directly impact people of color, Black, brown, Indigenous people \u2026 people who are trying to make ends meet.\u2019\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, in a May 5th<\/sup>, 2022, article<\/a> in ABC News (owned by leftist Disney, by the way), the author writes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPeople of color will face the brunt of the impact if Roe v. Wade is overturned by the Supreme Court, abortion rights advocates warn\u2026 \u2018This fight for abortion access that we’re in right now is a fight against white supremacy in this country,\u2019 said Monica Raye Simpson, the executive director of the Southern-based reproductive justice group SisterSong.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

All of this hysteria coming from the left is extremely ironic because abortions disproportionately kill black and brown babies<\/em>. According to statistics<\/a> from the Centers for Disease control, 67% of abortions terminate the lives of minority babies<\/em>. Indeed, the abortion rate for black women is 3.6 times higher, and while the abortion rate for Hispanic women is 1.8 times higher, than the rate for white women. Abortion kills<\/a> more black people each year than cancer, violent crimes, heart disease, AIDs, and accidents\u2014combined<\/em>.\u00a0 With these statistics, we should not be surprised that almost 80% of all abortion clinics are located<\/a> in or within walking distance of minority communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This disproportionate killing of minority babies is exactly what the supporters of abortion want. As Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, stated<\/a>: “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So yes, if Roe v. Wade<\/em> is overturned, minority communities will be disproportionately affected\u2014but in a positive way, by the killing of fewer minority babies. So let\u2019s celebrate when the Supreme Court finally overturns that decision\u2014and let\u2019s also do all we can to support those mothers and families who will be bringing more life into the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
