It prominently displays clothing and other items that show support for the radical LGBT agenda. It was among the first big retailers to <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.target.com\/article\/2016\/04\/target-stands-inclusivity\">permit<\/a> men \u201cidentifying\u201d as women to use its female restrooms, the legitimate concerns of girls and women be damned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And this year it is bending over backwards to show its support for the radical LGBT agenda. In anticipation of \u201cPride Month\u201d in June, Target has made two major <a href=\"https:\/\/fox17.com\/news\/nation-world\/targets-pride-line-sells-trans-merch-for-kids-chest-binders-and-packing-underwear\">announcements<\/a>. First, it is now selling <em>baby and toddler clothing<\/em> with the phrases \u201cmy first pride\u201d and \u201ctrans rights are human rights\u201d on them. As many of us have said, woke companies like Target and Disney truly are committed to grooming our children as young as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Target sells trans pride shirts for toddlers. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lt5cyvKMh0\">pic.twitter.com\/lt5cyvKMh0<\/a><\/p>&mdash; AConcernedParent (@AConcernedPare2) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AConcernedPare2\/status\/1522912494527864832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 7, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, Target is now selling \u201cchest binders\u201d and \u201cpacking underwear,\u201d both products used by some biological women who \u201cidentify\u201d as men. \u201cChest binders\u201d are used to compress the female breasts so that they become flatter like the male chest, while \u201cpacking underwear\u201d has a bulge in the front so that a woman \u201cidentifying\u201d as a male can have a \u201cbump\u201d in the groin area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these assaults by Target on reality, science, reason, common sense, natural law, the Bible, the Koran, and thousands of years of human experience, Nicole Russell points out two particular harms produced by Target\u2019s second action (selling chest binders and packing underwear) in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2022\/05\/13\/target-is-selling-chest-binders-to-girls-who-want-to-transition\/\">article<\/a> \u201cTarget Normalizes Transgender Lifestyle\u201d published on May 13, 2022, in the <em>Daily Signal<\/em>. First, she writes that Target is normalizing an extremely rare experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cAll of the new garments are marketed specifically at trans youth, which is a miniscule portion of the population\u2026Showcasing these items as if teenagers everywhere have been looking for a chest binder or unisex article of clothing [also being introduced] grossly overestimates the number of LGBT youth, normalizing these items for kids who are not their target audience. This goes beyond a need to represent a population that claims to be marginalized. This is a blatant attempt to normalize something about which most teenagers cannot relate.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, in regard to chest binders, Russell writes that Target is selling a product that can cause physical harm to girls and women. She states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWhen <em>The New York Times<\/em> asked for feedback on chest binders from people who wear them, the responses showcased their potential harm. One teenager wrote, \u2018Binders tend to be used as a temporary solution to the problem of having breasts and cannot be worn at all times. During exercise they can restrict breathing, and back and chest pain can come from wearing them for more than about eight hours at a time. You should also never sleep with a binder on.\u2019<\/p><p>A 20-year-old wrote in and said, \u2018The longer I used binding, the more I could feel my body deteriorating. The physical pain got worse but so did the emotional. Slowly I began living a life where I couldn\u2019t not bind. The initial euphoria of flatness turned into never being able to get flat enough. My body aches every day, I no longer have the lung capacity I once had, and my ribs have inverted. I fear breaking one when I sneeze.\u2019<\/p><p>A 2017&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/13691058.2016.1191675\">study<\/a>&nbsp; found that many trans-identifying individuals who engaged in chest binding \u2018experienced&nbsp;at least one negative health outcome from binding including pain, overheating, and shortness of breath. Fifty even reported rib fractures.\u2019\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>So there you have it. One of the wokest of woke corporations is outdoing itself this year in giving support to the radical LGBT agenda. Not only is it targeting trans youth, it is now even targeting newborns and toddlers with its LGBT messages.
