The Confederation of Polish Women organized a conference<\/a> that offers hope and concrete solutions to the difficulties pregnant women may face. The invited panelists answered a number of questions and concerns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Ewa Dmoch-Gajzlerska talked about the impact of delaying the decision of motherhood\u2013both from a medical and a social perspective. She noted the special role of the father and his support. She also addressed the use of contraception. She shared advice as to what to look for when choosing a pregnancy doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Maria Mas\u0142owska discussed the topic of pregnancy from the perspective of a psychologist \u2013 she emphasized the role of support from loved ones and the role of positive messages from society. She paid attention to the psychophysical well-being of the pregnant woman and disturbing signals that require consultation with a specialist (psychologist or psychiatrist).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magdalena Majkowska, attorney-at-law, explained the doubts related to the judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal and protection of the pregnant mother’s life. She discussed the topic of parental rights in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pregnancy in Poland conference showed that motherhood is both beautiful and very difficult; however, even in the face of special situations we are not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
