Whoopi Goldberg was just suspended from the ABC talk show The View<\/em>. Why? She claimed the Holocaust was not about race because Jews and Gypsies are \u201ctwo groups of White people.\u201d Goldberg must have slept through her high school\u2019s history class because it is common knowledge that Hitler killed Jews, Gypsies, Poles, and Russians because he considered them all \u201cinferior races.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n On The View<\/em> on January 31, 2022, when one host criticized a bill in the Florida legislature that would ban in schools conversations on race and gender that could make students feel uncomfortable, another host stated that teaching about the Holocaust could soon be prohibited in schools. Goldberg then chimed in: \u201cThe Holocaust isn\u2019t about race. No, it\u2019s not about race.\u201d When another host said that the Germans \u201cconsidered Jews a different race,\u201d Goldberg remained adamant: \u201cIt\u2019s not about race\u2026It\u2019s about man\u2019s inhumanity to man, that\u2019s what it\u2019s about.\u201d When another host remarked, \u201cBut it\u2019s about a White supremacist going after Jews and Gypsies,\u201d Goldberg responded: \u201cBut these are two White groups of people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
