Riccardo Simonetti, the European Union\u2019s LGBTQ+ Goodwill Ambassador, has just decided to disgracefully mock the Virgin Mary, the Holy Family, and all Christians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the December issue of the German LGBT magazine Siegessaule Magazin<\/a><\/em>, Simonetti appears in several Nativity photos dressed as the Virgin Mary. In one picture, Simonetti, who has a beard, is dressed as the Virgin Mary and is holding a newborn child. In a second photo, Simonetti, again dressed as the Virgin Mary and holding a newborn child, is being embraced by another man, dressed as Joseph, in a Nativity pose deliberately designed to present a homosexual version of the Holy Family. Significantly, the color of Joseph\u2019s robe\u2014pink\u2014was specifically chosen because, along with the blue for Simonetti\u2019s head veil and the white for his robe, it makes up the colors of the transgender flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As Simonetti proudly stated on Instagram<\/a>: \u201cIf we ignore the fact that Jesus wasn\u2019t white, we could as well believe the Virgin Mary had a beard, why not?… Special thanks to my friend @akwantu<\/a> for playing Josef in our newly interpreted holy family photo using the trans Pride flag as Inspiration \ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\u26a7\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Just what benefit Simonetti hoped to gain by mocking Christians during the Christmas season remains a mystery.
