In Verona, La Festa dei Fiori was organized and a flyer promoting gender ideology aimed at six-year-olds was published for the occasion. This time, a spring event that children are happy to attend was involved in the new gender and LGBT propaganda. The administration of Damiano Tommasi, a former soccer player and now mayor, decided to publicize the Feast with the gender fluid neo-language flyer aimed at young children, directly promoted by the Dem administration. The invitation is addressed to “children* ages 6 and up,” with an asterisk, and “to all*,” also with an asterisk in order to replace the last letter of the words which, in Italian, denotes either male or female gender of nouns. “Gardening workshops for all*, interventions on biodiversity for all*, moments on climate change for children*, games and recreation always for all*.”

As Il Giornale.it reports, “Verona’s Dem mayor, Damiano Tommasi, is turning a deaf ear. His junta, which ranges from the far left to the Democratic Party, does not want to clarify its position on how it invites people to a party that, by the way, it decided independently to promote. The City Hall-sponsored Flower Festival was scheduled in conjunction with Earth Day and in conjunction with events organized by the Climact! association and the local branch of the WWF.”

Fratelli d’Italia criticized the new follies of gender ideology. “Who authorized these advertisements? Declining all nouns with an asterisk instead of following the rules of Italian grammar is both unnecessary and harmful. The asterisk,” explains Maddalena Morgante, the Veronese parliamentarian from Fratelli d’Iitalia, “amounts to an annihilation of any kind of identity, cripples the language and does not promote any step forward with respect to the principles of non-discrimination, but on the contrary. It opens the door to gender ideology by confusing children from an early age.”
