The inaugural National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children occurred on September 14th, 2013.
Organized by Citizens for a Pro-Life Society and the Pro-Life Action League, over 100 memorial services were held across the United States at gravesites and memorials for aborted children, marking the first nationwide effort to publicly honor and mourn the victims of abortion as a solemn, unified act of remembrance.
This event was a pivotal milestone in the pro-life movement, adding focus on commemoration and spiritual witness, helping to humanize the unborn and deepen public awareness of abortion’s tragedy.
