President-Elect Trump vows to halt ‘transgender lunacy’ on first day in office

Promising to put an end to what he described as “transgender lunacy”, President-elect Donald Trump has committed to executing a number of executive orders on his first day in office. As revealed during his keynote speech at the Turning Point USA’s America Fest conference in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump’s proposed measures include protecting women’s spaces and upholding the biological divide of two genders.

Among the proposed actions, Trump intends to halt “child sexual mutilation”, along with excluding transgender individuals from the military and schools at various levels. Additionally, his government plans to forbid men from participating in women’s sports from day one of his administration.

Suggesting an efficient start to his term, Trump assured the audience that his administration will be fully operational within two hours after he officially steps into office on January 20. Reflecting optimism towards the future of the country, he stated, “For those of us standing before you today, I can proudly proclaim that the golden age of America is upon us.”

The stance on trans-identifying individuals was a critical issue in the 2024 election, with the Trump campaign capitalizing on resistance towards transgenderism. Approximately 20% of its ad budget was utilized in challenging the Democratic candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the party’s policies regarding transgender issues.
