Planned Parenthood’s recently released Annual Report for 2021-2022 has caused controversy due to its revelation of the number of abortions performed by the organization. According to the report, Planned Parenthood conducted 374,155 abortions in 2021, equating to approximately 1,200 abortions per day.
The report also revealed a stark contrast between the number of abortions and other services provided by Planned Parenthood. While the organization only made 1,803 adoption referrals, the ratio of abortions to adoption referrals was 207 to 1. Furthermore, for every pregnancy that Planned Parenthood assisted in carrying to term through prenatal services, they performed 60 abortions. These statistics indicate that the organization prioritizes abortion.
Interestingly, the report shows a decline in the number of clients visiting Planned Parenthood for services. While in previous years, the organization saw around 3 million clients annually, with a smaller percentage seeking abortions, recent years have seen a decrease in clients to just over 2 million. Despite this decline, the number of abortions performed by Planned Parenthood has increased.
These numbers reveal Planned Parenthood’s true focus and raise concerns about the organization’s priorities. The disproportionate ratio of abortions to other services and the overall increase in abortions despite a decrease in clients suggest that the organization’s primary objective is performing abortions.
This report shows that Planned Parenthood’s true purpose and goal is not the health of the women they claim to serve, but really the profit that comes with performing as many abortions as possible.
