Pipe bomb found outside Catholic Church in Philadelphia

A pedestrian called the Philadelphia Police when they discovered a pipe bomb behind St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Philadelphia, PA.

Bomb squad authorities removed the 18-in capped end PVC pipe bomb with black powder in it after shutting down the surrounding streets in Philadelphia’s Holmesburg section.

No injuries were reported, and it is yet unclear whether or not this bomb was part of an anti-Catholic hate related incident.
