Netflix stock continues to plummet over transgender programming

Netflix’s stock value has reportedly dropped by an estimated $25 billion this week as a growing number of subscribers cancel their accounts in response to the streaming giant’s promotion of radical transgender ideology in children’s programming.

On October 1, Elon Musk, with his 227 million X followers, called for a boycott of Netflix, urging parents to “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids.” His post, viewed over 90 million times and garnering 1 million likes, fueled a viral “Cancel Netflix” movement, which trended on both X and Google as searches for the term reached unprecedented levels.

By Friday, the backlash had intensified, with Netflix’s stock price taking a significant hit. Conservative voices have pointed to the company’s troubling content decisions as the cause.

Robby Starbuck, a vocal critic of woke corporate agendas, shared a video exposing Netflix’s Vice President of Inclusion Strategy, Vernã Myers, who proudly declared the company’s rejection of neutrality on divisive social issues. Myers highlighted Netflix’s commitment to promoting transgenderism and other fringe ideologies in an effort to “transform” culture.

“Netflix is not an entertainment company—it’s a social engineering company,” Starbuck warned.

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson further amplified the outrage, explaining why the “Cancel Netflix” campaign has resonated so widely. “Netflix is sexualizing children by packaging explicit, graphic, radical sex topics as ‘children’s entertainment,’” Johnson stated on X. “This isn’t just a culture war issue—it’s a moral outrage. It’s indefensible and should be illegal.”

In a video report showcasing clips from Netflix’s controversial children’s programs, Johnson added:

“The reason this is happening isn’t just politics—it’s about right and wrong. Netflix is crossing a line by exposing children to inappropriate content. This is why the boycott has gone viral. They’ve gone too far.”

Elon Musk endorsed Johnson’s stance, agreeing “100%.”

The backlash underscores a growing demand for family-friendly entertainment that respects parental values and protects children from inappropriate content. As subscribers continue to abandon the platform, Netflix faces increasing pressure to address these concerns.
