Yesterday, after years of legal battles and personal attacks, John Eastman, legal scholar and advisor to President Trump, was disbarred in California.
The California Supreme Court didn’t even bother to hear his appeal of the outrageous decision by the State Bar to eliminate him as an advocate for the Constitution and conservative legal policies. They issued a two-word order: “Denied; disbarred.”
This is the type of “justice” conservatives get in a state where the Democrats have a super-majority in every branch of government, from the Legislature to the executive branch to the courts
Fortunately, California doesn’t have the final say. Dr. Eastman is appealing this matter to the US Supreme Court. His US Supreme Court appeal will be focused on the many violations of his federal constitutional rights – the right to free speech, the right to due process, the right to a fair trial and an unbiased judge, etc.
