A gay sex video apparently filmed at the Acropolis in broad daylight while visitors were mulling about is causing an outcry in Greece.

The Ministry for Culture has launched a full investigation. The film came to light in mid-December during a showing at the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki.

Participants in the pornographic film attempted to shield two men engaging in sex acts from authorities. The makers even issued a statement attacking “heteronormativity” and “patriarchy.”
