Complaint over Torrevieja carnival featuring girls in erotic lingerie

The Christian Lawyers Foundation also requested the withdrawal of the prize of 650 euros awarded to the troupe in which the girls paraded.

The Spanish Foundation of Christian Lawyers filed a complaint with the Court of Instruction of Torrevieja against those responsible for the Carnival parade in which several girls were dressed in erotic lingerie.

The organization of lawyers filed the complaint against the councilwoman of Fiestas, Rosario Martinez (PP), the president and secretary of the Cultural Association of Torrevieja Carnival, Francisco Pizana and Armando Bueno, and those responsible for the troupe called “Osadía” (Daring).

The accused persons may have been involved in the crime of using minors for exhibitionist shows under Article 189 of the Penal Code. The complaint also requests that the Public Prosecutor’s Office assesses whether other crimes may have been committed, such as abuse of minors (Art. 181 PC).

The Christian Lawyers Foundation also requested the withdrawal of the prize of 650 euros awarded to the troupe in which the girls paraded. The award was presented to them for winning the fourth place in the category of Costume.

The president of the organization of jurists Polonia Castellanos said, “that these facts deserved an award, it seems to us that it is something reprehensible and that it also enters in the type of crime of corruption of minors. We hope that justice will be done and that it will not be allowed that the innocence of children is eliminated in this way, and that children are abused in this manner”.
