Catholic priest convicted after shutting down abortion clinic

Franciscan prosecuted under the FACE act

Father Fidelis Moscinski, a staunchly pro-life Franciscan friar, was convicted on Wednesday under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE) after padlocking a New York City abortion clinics gates shut.

Even after the New York fire department was called and cut through the chains, Father Fidelis refused to concede, laying down in front of the entrance to stop cars from entering. Father Fidelis was then arrested for blocking traffic and was later convicted of breaking the FACE act, which prohibits individuals from restricting access to “health” clinics. He faces 6 months in prison for his act of civil disobedience in the face of the evil of abortion.

The prejudice of the Biden administration is clear in the handling of pro-life and pro-choice protestors. Twenty-six pro-life protestors have been charged under the FACE act in the past year, while only two pro-choice protestors have been arrested out of 200 attacks against churches and pro-life advocacy centers.
