Prominent Catholic commentator and Daily Wire host, Matt Walsh, has recently brought to light disconcerting documents that imply Fox News, a network once viewed as a reliable conservative stronghold, is endorsing the progressive ‘woke’ agenda, pushing LGBT advocacy and even promoting hormone therapies for homeless transgender youth. This new information challenges Fox News’s image, casting doubts over its standing as a conservative media outlet, and suggesting a significant drift towards a leftist worldview.
According to the revealed internal documents, Fox News is promoting contributions to various LGBT activist organizations, such as the Ali Forney Center, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and the Trevor Project. Disturbingly, the Trevor Project, which Fox News has portrayed as dedicated to assisting “LGBTQ young people”, hosts explicit chat rooms where minors as young as 13 can interact with adult members of the LGBT community. The Ali Forney Center, meanwhile, praised by Fox News for aiding ‘homeless LGBT youth’, has admitted to providing these vulnerable youths with cross-sex hormones, a process that often results in sterilization.
The documents also expose Fox News’s promotion of books penned by LGBT activists, some of which include explicit content regarding homosexual practices. Shockingly, they also endorse children’s books propagating LGBT ideologies, such as a story where the central character identifies as a unicorn, ostensibly as an allegory for coming out as gay or transgender. This shocking push of sexualized content towards both employees and innocent children indicates a clear shift from the channel’s previously conservative leanings.
In a more Orwellian twist, Walsh reports that Fox News has utilized an AI tool, Eskalera, to gauge the commitment of its employees to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The AI platform mines data from various sources, such as email and payroll systems, to create a ‘peer comfort index’ and ‘diversity index’, which are based on how often employees participate in so-called ‘micro-affirmations’. This AI-driven analysis has the potential to significantly influence personnel decisions and workplace dynamics, all in the service of ‘woke’ ideology.
What’s more troubling is Fox News’s ownership structure. ESG-pushing asset managers like BlackRock and Vanguard, known for imposing progressive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) scores, are some of Fox Corporation’s largest shareholders. As per Walsh, these funds pool the wealth of countless Americans, wielding their combined voting power to forward a radical agenda. BlackRock recently increased its holding in Fox Corporation to 15.1%, prompting speculation about their influence in the controversial firing of conservative host Tucker Carlson. These recent revelations demand answers from Fox News executives: Are they genuinely aware of their company’s activities, or are they merely complying with New York State Laws? Alternatively, do they indeed endorse such drastic ideological shifts? The conservative viewership deserves a clear response.
