Antifa mob attacks Christian man, burns his Bible at “No Kings” protest

A Christian man was physically attacked and had his Bible stolen and burned by Antifa militants during the violent “No Kings” anti-ICE riot outside the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Portland, Oregon, on March 28.

Sterling Martin was standing alone near the driveway of the ICE building when a rioter singled him out in the crowd. Video footage shows Martin being surrounded by black bloc Antifa members, who robbed him of his hat, dumped a bucket of chemicals over his head, and spat on him. Earlier in the day, protesters had stolen his backpack — which contained his Bible.

The burning of Martin’s Bible was later celebrated publicly on social media by Portland Antifa extremist Shawn Michael Bitgood, who uses the alias “Comrade Freya” and identifies as transgender. Bitgood has previously been visited by the FBI’s domestic terrorism task force and is a current defendant in a murder case, yet has remained a fixture at Portland’s ICE facility protests.

Robert Stoms, a 37-year-old Antifa militant described as a violent trans activist, was identified as one of the aggressors and was arrested that evening.
